The Philosophy
Adam Surat was born from a shared conviction: that the most beautiful parts of a wedding are the ones that aren't performed. As partners in both life and art, we reached a defining crossroad where we chose to follow our creative passion rather than the weight of societal expectations.
Enamur Reza, a graduate architect, and Tanjila Munia, a business graduate, both chose to leave their traditional paths behind. Both having a Post Graduate Photography Diploma with years of dedicated project work, we transitioned from our academic backgrounds to challenge the "staged" narrative of the wedding industry. For us, this journey is about more than just a career; it is an artistic mission to document the essence of human connection.
We document the truth for families who value authenticity. Our work is a representation of your true belonging: not the jewelry or the decor, but the memory of a connection that remains when the lights go down.

Over nearly seven years in Dhaka, Tanjila Biswas Munia’s photographic voice has unfolded with quiet persistence. In a landscape where a woman’s choice to pursue such a path is often met with hesitation, doubt, and constraint, she has chosen instead to listen inward, gently yet resolutely, crossing the invisible lines of familial expectation to remain faithful to her own desire.
Her practice emerges from affect, woven through emotion, memory, and subtle inner tremors that refuse silence. Munia approaches the image as a tactile language, one that is felt before it is understood, touched before it is translated.

Enamur Reza is a documentary photographer exploring transboundary water politics, climate justice, displacement, and marginalized communities. His photography journey led him into the realm of loss and reform, memory and survival, documenting the fragile yet resilient lives shaped by shifting landscapes and political forces. He documents the collision of personal and political realities through his lens, emphasizing the human cost of environmental and systemic crises.

For me, the practice of photography is about navigating the weight of reality. While I work as a commercial photographer and continue my studies at Pathshala South Asian Media Institute, my truest motivation lies in the simple, grounded elements of life—song, trees, and fish. I aim to live through photographs and the small, honest smirks that occur in between. My work is an effort to witness and preserve these unscripted moments, documenting the raw energy of existence exactly as it is.

For me, documenting a Bangladeshi wedding is a profound experience. There is immense beauty in observing the unscripted truth of these celebrations, and capturing the depth of human emotion is what drives my work. I want people to see the world as I do—where the camera is simply an extension of my own eyes, acting as a witness to the complex layers of happiness, sadness, hope, and love that define ourselves.
